I am an advertising lifestyle photographer, originally from South Africa, now calling North Yorkshire home.

Before becoming a photographer I spent many years travelling, searching for something I couldn't quite define. It was during these adventures that I discovered my love for photography; a way to capture fleeting moments and genuine human connections that I encountered along the way. What began as documenting my travels grew into a lifelong passion and an amazing profession, that has enabled me to be behind the lens for over 20 years, shooting all over the globe!

For me, photography is about creating an environment where special moments naturally unfold. I believe powerful images emerge when everyone on set feels comfortable and energised, I maintain a professional yet relaxed approach where creativity is able to flourish and genuine emotions are able to shine through.

Unscripted magic inspires me; when someone laughs for real, gets lost in their world, shares a quiet moment and connects with others naturally.

The best part of my job? Working for ambitious clients and teaming up with talented art directors, stylists, and creatives who bring fresh ideas to the table. I love back-and-forth where we bounce ideas around, figure out what works, and create something that just clicks for the brand.
