Originally from South Africa and now based in North Yorkshire, I've spent much of my life chasing people, places and good light.

Before photography became my career, I spent years travelling the world, camera in hand, documenting adventures, chance encounters and the characters I met along the way. Somewhere between dusty bus journeys, remote landscapes and unfamiliar cities, photography stopped being a hobby and became an obsession.

More than 20 years later, I've photographed campaigns across the UK and around the world. I've worked on windswept mountains, in busy city centres, on beaches before sunrise and in locations where the weather forecast suggested I should probably have stayed in bed.

What keeps me excited is still the same thing that drew me to photography in the first place: people. The strongest images aren't manufactured; they happen in the spaces between. A genuine laugh, a shared glance, a moment of focus, a split second when someone forgets they're being photographed doing what it is that they do.

For me, photography has always been a celebration of life — the adventure, energy, connection and emotion that make us human. My job is simply to create the conditions for those moments to happen.

Whether I'm working with elite athletes, outdoor enthusiasts, families, models or brand ambassadors, I aim to keep shoots relaxed, collaborative and full of energy. The best work always comes from talented creatives bouncing ideas around and building something together.

These days I work with brands, agencies and creative teams across advertising, lifestyle, sport and outdoor sectors, creating imagery that celebrates people embracing life to the fullest.
